Founder’s Story
I started Sayer & Stone because I realized the jewelry I loved most was often the jewelry I wore least.
There was a bracelet sitting in my jewelry box. A delicate pendant I adored. A pair of earrings I had chosen carefully and loved at first sight.
All of them waiting.
Waiting for the right occasion. A wedding. A milestone dinner. A moment that felt worthy enough.
But months would pass, and somehow, nothing felt quite special enough. Slowly, I began to understand that I was saving the very pieces that made me feel most beautiful.
And I knew I was not alone.
So many of us have a “good jewelry” drawer, pieces we protect so carefully that we forget to actually enjoy them. We worry about wearing them on a trip. We hesitate to put them on for a regular Tuesday. We save them for some imagined future occasion, instead of letting them become part of our real lives.
That quiet realization became the beginning of Sayer & Stone.
I wanted to create fine jewelry that felt truly special, but not untouchable. Pieces with polish, presence, and sparkle, but also ease. Jewelry you could wear on a Tuesday morning, on a long flight, to lunch with a friend, to the farmers market, and then straight to a candlelit dinner.
Jewelry beautiful enough to make you feel dressed, and effortless enough to actually wear.
Lab diamonds opened that door for me.
The more I learned, the more I understood that lab diamonds were not a compromise. They were a revelation. They are real diamonds, with the same brilliance, fire, and structure as mined diamonds, but with greater transparency and a more approachable price point.
That changed everything.
It meant I could create fine jewelry with real diamonds, thoughtful craftsmanship, and timeless design, while making the pieces feel more wearable, more collectible, and more a part of everyday life.
Sayer & Stone was born from the belief that luxury should be lived in.
Each piece is designed to feel refined, modern, and lasting. Clean silhouettes. Elegant proportions. A little edge. A lot of light.
Nothing fussy. Nothing meant to sit untouched in a drawer.
Just beautiful fine jewelry, thoughtfully made, designed to move through life with you.
Because the pieces you love most should not be waiting.
They should be out in the world with you.
They should be out in the world with you.
