I just returned from JCK in Las Vegas, one of the biggest jewelry shows in the world, and I came home feeling energized, inspired, and very excited about what is next for Sayer & Stone.
JCK is part sourcing trip, part treasure hunt, and part creative reset. I spent the show meeting with new suppliers, looking closely at craftsmanship, comparing details, and searching for pieces that feel distinctive, wearable, and a little unexpected. My goal is always the same: to find jewelry that feels elevated, versatile, and special enough to become part of your everyday rotation.
This trip brought several exciting new discoveries.
Leather Cords, Ropes, and Diamond Enhancers
One of my favorite finds was a new direction in pendant styling: leather cords and ropes paired with diamond enhancers. I love this combination because it feels relaxed but still luxurious. It gives a diamond pendant a more modern, effortless look, and it is such a chic way to wear fine jewelry without feeling overly formal.
A diamond enhancer can clip onto a cord, chain, or necklace, giving you more ways to style pieces you already own. It is exactly the kind of versatile jewelry I love: one piece, multiple looks, and easy to dress up or down.

Drilled Diamonds
I also found some beautiful drilled diamonds, which I am very excited to introduce. Drilled diamonds have a tiny hole through the stone, allowing them to be suspended directly from a chain, hoop, or design element without a traditional prong or bezel setting.
The result is a lighter, more fluid look. The diamonds can move, catch light, and feel almost like they are floating. I love them for earrings, delicate drops, and pieces that have a little bit of movement.
They feel elegant, but not fussy.
New Shapes in Tennis Bracelets
Another highlight from the show was seeing so many new interpretations of the classic tennis bracelet. I found beautiful versions with fresh diamond shapes, not just the traditional round brilliant style.
Think emerald cuts, ovals, pears, marquise shapes, and other mixed-shape designs that give the tennis bracelet a more personal and fashion-forward feel. I love the idea of taking something timeless and making it feel a little more distinctive.
A tennis bracelet is already one of the most wearable pieces in a jewelry wardrobe, but these new shaped versions make the category feel exciting again.

What I Look For When Sourcing
When I source for Sayer & Stone, I am always looking for pieces that balance beauty, quality, and wearability. I want jewelry that feels special, but not too precious to wear. Pieces that can go to dinner, to a meeting, on vacation, or just with jeans and a white shirt.
At JCK, I found new suppliers who understand that point of view. I am excited to bring in pieces that feel modern, elegant, and easy to style, while still having the craftsmanship and sparkle that make fine jewelry so joyful.
